The Enterprise Support Infrastructure Engineering team within the Bank’s Technology Group is responsible for providing infrastructure technology capabilities to enable cloud hosting for business applications. The team works closely with our service providers and customers to provide highly resilient, secure, enterprise-class cloud platforms and infrastructure to meet business requirements.
Your role as a Senior Cloud Site Reliability Engineer (SRE):
• Setting up AWS infrastructure
• Containerize code and COTS tools.
• Write IAC code to install custom applications and COTS tools in AWS.
• Create the pipelines to install and rehydrate in AWS.
• Take software as a black box and deploy and install in AWS.
Quals--
• Versed in infrastructure as code practices using Terraform.
• Working knowledge of DevOps and delivery tools like Gitlab
• Knowledge of process separation i.e. Control plane, Data Plane
• Kubernetes (EKS) expertise
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
• Knowledge of AWS IAM concepts and principles
• Practical understanding of infrastructure technologies - compute, network, storage
• Working knowledge of Docker containerization
• Proven experience with AWS cloud Platforms, PaaS, SaaS experience.
• Working knowledge and hands-on experience of VPC, AWS Transit VPC, Transit Gateway,Direct Connect methodologies.
• Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalling.
• Demonstrate knowledge in AWS Cloud and Internet technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS,HTTP/HTTPS, Web architecture and design.
• Nice to have practical knowledge of coding practices (such as python, Java, Scala)
